Great News! Troy Has A New Community Center !!

Great News!  Peter Paul has given the Town of Troy the gift of a fantastic new Comunity Center!
 
lThe Samuel E. Paul Community Cener is a large (40’ x 60’) multi-use Community Center has been added to last year’s Master Plan.  It includes a large main room with a divider for meetings, a full size kitchen, bathrooms and cellar for storage.  In addition, the parking lot will be enlarged. The new facility will be ideal for fundraisers, meetings, voting, and special events. 
 

New Beach Sand - Good News!

Thanks to the donation from Peter Paul, and the work of Jim Dicey, the beach area now has new beach sand.  The footbridges have been replaced, picnic tables have been repaired, and the geese have decided to hang out someplace else!

KSC Service Learning Program Partners with Samuel E. Paul War Memorial Commission

The Town of Troy was fortunate to have the Service Learning Program at Keene State College partner with the Samuel E. Paul War Memorial Commission to look into the renovation of the Sand Dam recreation park.  Staff and students from the geography, architecture and wellness and health programs presented their survey analysis and design options during a presentation at The Inn at East Hill Farm on April 27th.
