KSC Service Learning Program Partners with Samuel E. Paul War Memorial Commission

The Town of Troy was fortunate to have the Service Learning Program at Keene State College partner with the Samuel E. Paul War Memorial Commission to look into the renovation of the Sand Dam recreation park.  Staff and students from the geography, architecture and wellness and health programs presented their survey analysis and design options during a presentation at The Inn at East Hill Farm on April 27th.

Our commission would like to thank the following for their support and excellent service to our community:  Dean, School of Sciences and Social Sciences, Gordon Leversee and Asst. Dean, Scott Strong, Coordinator of Experiential Education Becca Hickham, Health and Wellness Professor Marge Droppa and students Amanda Grover and Katelyn Parmenter, Geography Professor Chris Cusack and students, Heidi Crowell and Catherine Stack, Architecture Professor, Peter Temple and students, Jenna Gibbons, Nick Lima, Derek Small, Brittany Blinn, Nathan Burse and Gabriel LaPlume.

Special thanks to Keene State College President, Dr. Helen Giles-Gee and University System of NH Trustee, Jude Blake, for introducing the Service Learning Program to our community.
